Workplace Partner Information and Updates
As one of Caring Connections’ Workplace Outreach Partners, you will have the opportunity to expand your outreach efforts to employers in your community and network with other workplace partners located in 30 states. As a reminder, your organization has agreed to:

Complete an online training module on workplace outreach by July 1, 2009

Participate in monthly technical assistance/networking calls

Complete monthly and final evaluation forms
-
Commit to implementing LIVE-At Work resources/activities in at least 3 workplace settings/employers by March 31, 2010.
In return, NHPCO will provide you with ongoing support and assistance as well as resources to help you reach out to your employers in your community. In addition, as we conduct outreach to potential national companies interested in implementing LIVE-At Work, we may forward "leads" or information if our national connections yield local contacts for you to work with.

Monthly Tracking/Evaluation Form
Please submit your monthly tracking form to Helen Ennis by the last date of each month. The form can be accessed here.
The online orientation and training module for Workplace partners will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete and will provide you with:
- An overview of the LIVE-At Work national outreach initiative
- Information about end-of-life issues in the workplace
- Specific outreach strategies to engage employers
- Practical examples of workplace outreach initiatives from two community organizations
- Next steps to begin your workplace outreach efforts
